Last week we sent out important information regarding the proposed Board Consolidation Legislation in the State of Ohio. Now it is time for you to act!
Please see this letter that was sent to all state legislators today. This letter represents the opinion of the licensure boards in the state and is a unified statement asking for a NO vote on the proposed legislation.
Please review the letter and then contact your state senator and/or representative and urge them to vote NO on Senate Bill 366 or House Bill 617. You can use information from letter in your correspondence and urge your senator/representative to work to protect the citizens of Ohio with communication impairments by voting no on these two bills. An email or phone call is a great way to reach your legislator.
If you are not sure who your state senator or representative is, then you can easily find them at this web address: https://www.legislature.ohio.gov/legislators/find-my-legislators
