The Super Board Consolidation proposal, which was dropped from legislative consideration at the end of 2016 is back as part of HB 49, the Governor’s budget bill. OSSPEAC and our colleagues in GAC (Government Affairs Coalition) strongly oppose this measure. We urge you to write to your State Representative and State Senator to oppose this bill. Loan Forgiveness Application (some SLPs qualify for up to $17,500 in loan forgiveness!)
The Support Our Students (SOS) Grant fund is designed for OSSPEAC members to purchase products that will assist students access their educational curriculum. OSSPEAC members may complete and submit applications describing a student’s need for a specific item. Members may submit applications for more than one item, but each request must be submitted on a separate application form. Applications will be reviewed for consideration after February 15th, 2015. Awards will be distributed in February 2015. Grants awards will range from $250-$1000. If a product’s cost exceeds $1000, the overall cost may be subsidized.
Interested OSSPEAC members must:
- Download the SOS Grant Application
- Complete the application in its entirety
- Save the application
- Submit the application by February 15th, 2015
